Specific staff have been given the Password reset facility for students within Office 365.
Providing you have been granted this permission, please use the following instructions to reset a students password.
1. Go to https://admin.microsoft.com/
2. Click the student you wish to reset the password for and click "Reset Password" on the right hand pane
3. Select the options suitable for this reset. and click reset
i) Automatically create a password - This will let Microsoft generate a password for you. The password will be a random selection of letters and numbers (if you unselect this option, you can choose the password for the student)
ii) Require this user to change their password when they first sign in - This will prompt the student to reset the password you provide them to something more familiar to them
ii) Email the sign-in info to me - This option lets you send yourself or another user an email with the username and password. This is useful when sending logins to parents / other staff
